About Letter Lists

Letter Lists is a pass-the-device party game for two to eight players. Each round rolls a letter and deals eight categories, such as a fruit, a city or something soft. Players take turns filling in their answers in secret, then the table reads them out together. An answer scores a point if it starts with the letter and nobody else wrote the same thing, and the table can strike out anything it will not accept.

How to play Letter Lists

1Add 2–8 players, choose rounds and a timer, then roll the letter.
2Pass the device round the table. Each player fills the eight categories in secret before time runs out.
3Answers score a point if they start with the letter and nobody else wrote the same thing. The table can strike out any answer it does not accept.

Tips and rules

Short, unusual answers win: if two of you write the same word, neither scores it.
